Easy mode: gas is automatic and the kart is helped to stay on the road. Stick or D-pad: steer left/right, down = brake · any face button = item · any shoulder button = drift (hold while turning, let go for a boost) · RT = NITRO (hold; the bar fills over time) · Select mute Odd controller? “Set up controller” lets you pick the item, drift and nitro buttons.

🔥 turbo · 🛢️ oil slick · ⚡ homing bolt 🐱 Cats: V / Ⓨ / C / V throws a homing cat (5 per race). Hold brake to throw backwards. A hit knocks a kart out for a moment and gives you nitro. Item boxes give a cat back.
